The proud daughter of Ulaganayakan Kamal Hassan –Shruthi Hassan singing is confirmed for ‘Prithvi’ Kannada film starring Puneeth Rajakumar and Parvathi Menon. Nenapidhu Nenapidhu Kanasalu Mareyadha Nenapidhu… Manasina Mareyali Minuguva Hosa Hosa Nenapidhu… penned by K Kalyan… Shruthi Hassan has got the CD of the track song and she will be lending her voice for this on 7th or 8th March 2010 in a studio in Chennai. Music director Manikanth Khadri of ‘Prithvi’ will be on the spot of Shruthi Hassan recording her first Kannada song. As of now Shruthi Hassan is quite busy in shifting the residence from Eldams road to Sholinganallur in Chennai.

The male voice for this duet song is in the voice of Karthik. This song has been shot for the film ‘Prithvi’ in Jordon, Vadiram, Petra and other locations. For two songs in Jordon nine locations have been selected by producers of ‘Prithvi’ Soorappa Babu and NS Rajakumar.

It may be recalled that Shruthi Hassan dad Dr Kamal Hassan is also having his good share of career in Kannada films.

‘Prithvi’ shooting in 80 days has Satya Hegde camera work, Jacob Verghese of ‘Savaari’ fame is the director. Srinivasamurthy, Satyapriya, Ramesh Bhat, Padmaja Rao, Avinash, Shivaji Rao Jadhav, John Vijay, John Anees, Kukkin are in the cast.
